Book review: 『殺人犯はそこにいる』 by Kiyoshi Shimizu
In his book, author and journalist Kiyoshi Shimizu recounts in detail how he investigated the Ashikaga murder case and showed that evidence collected against Toshikazu Sugaya was flawed. An engrossing read about one of Japan’s most know wrongful convictions.
Book review: 『恋する寄生虫』 by Sugaru Miaki
This novel starts like a simple story of two asocial persons who somehow try to overcome their difficulties together, but it takes a surprising direction and is much more complex than it seems at first. The story is nice, but it was not for me.

A funny yet engrossing locked room mystery and an impressive debut novel.

Book review: 『嫌われる勇気』 by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga
This book is about Adlerian psychology but presented in a very easy and concrete way.
Book review: 『岩田さん』ed. by Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun
This book is a collection of interviews between Satoru Iwata and Shigesato Itoi. Highly recommended if you want to know more about Satoru Iwata, if you are a Nintendo fan, if you are interested in the game industry, or simply if you want to hear inspiring anecdotes and episodes about leadership, teamwork, communication, and dreams for the future.
Book review: 『裁判官失格』 by Ryuichi Takahashi
I was overall disappointed with this book as it was not what I was looking for. The content, while being interesting, was very pale compared to what the obi advertised.
