I only read two books this month, but they were both entertaining and on the easy side.

This is the third book of the Ikagawa series, and it’s very good if you like mystery novels with a lighter tone and a lot of humour that still delivers an engrossing detective case .

I really recommend this book if you are looking for mystery short stories and want to discover new authors!
Book review: 『大金塊｜怪人二十面相』by Edogawa Rampo
This book contains two short novels from the Boy Detectives Club series. Even though they are books for children, they were very pleasant to read!
『人間豹』by Edogawa Rampo
This novel is about the confrontation between Kogoro Akechi and a mysterious man leopard. It was an entertaining read, not my favourite but quite good.
Book review: 『黄金仮面』 by Edogawa Rampo
This novel is one of my least favourite of the series so far. I found the end quite good, but the novel also felt very repetitive after a while.

Book review: 『ひと』 by Fuminori Onodera
ひとis a nice story showing that one is never alone, and that there are always good people ready to help and share. But for a prize winner, I was expecting a little more from this novel.

This is a collection of short stories featuring both Akira Hamura and detective Shuntaro Kobayashi. It is the first book of the Akira Hamura series.

This is the seventh book in the Kogoro Akechi collection and my favourite so far!

An engrossing corporate novel and by far my favourite book read this year. I highly recommend it!
