I just learnt that KFC in Chinese is 肯德基 (kěndéjī), so just using the “Kentucky” part of the brand. However, Kentucky (the state) is 肯塔基 (kěntǎjī).
Interesting to see that the same word has two different transliterations, each leading to a different meaning.#Chinese

📖 Finally finished a book I started at the beginning of the month.
🍲 Hot pot on a cold day.
❄️ There were tiny snowflakes today, I don’t even know if it really counts as snow as they were so small. (첫눈, the first snow of the year, was earlier this November.)

Finally finished 99%の誘拐 by Futari Okajima (岡嶋二人). I only found the second half to be really interesting, and some passages felt a bit long, but it was cool to see how computer science, programming and technology are used in the plot, and this at the time of floppy disks and cordless telephones.
Fourth book by these authors and my least favourite so far, but I will continue to explore their repertoire!
